Some questions for the people of Faith UMC (and anyone else for that matter...)
1) What are the top two reasons you come to this church?
2) Which of Faith UMC's ministries do you think is most important and why?
3) What would you most like to see done within the next 3 months at Faith UMC? 6 months? Year? and Why?

1) Christian fellowship, Spiritual Growth
2) Homeless Mission, Music
3) Timelines are difficult with our size. So many are interdependent. Financial solvency, incressed youth (kids & adults), more local ministry involvement for the needy beyond the food pantry, sprucing up the old church classrooms and choir room.
1. I know this will sound self-righteous or whatever, but I felt I was led by the Holy Spirit to start attending here, just like He led me downtown to worship with the homeless for 1 1/2 years. And I can't say I know why, but I do know that I get plenty out of it each time. Other than that, I'm just trying to be obedient to where I believe God leads me. Why else would I drive 85 miles (ok Mom, you are a good reason to drive that far as well :-)
2. Helping the Needy - Christ spent his ministry teaching us about God and reaching those in desperate need (physical, mental, and spiritual). We need to do the same, and I feel He helps and teaches me more than I help them.
Music - Music touches us in special ways, and it is a great way to reach our youth, as long as the words are inspired by Christ's teachings.
3. To be honest, I don't know what should be done in the next 3-6 months. But, if we pray and fast, humble ourselves, and seek His guidance, I believe He will make it clear what He wants us to do.
